GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE (GTC) - BLACK FRIDAY 2025 SPECIAL

  1. Scope of Application
    These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) apply to all furniture sales concluded between the company REMO HOME, registered as 94458644500016, with its registered office in MÉRIGNAC], (hereinafter "the Seller") and any consumer buyer (hereinafter "the Customer") via the website https://remo-home.fr/. They shall prevail, if applicable, over any other document.

  2. Definitions
    Product(s): all furniture, accessories, and services sold by the Seller. Order: act by which the Customer accepts the offer and these GTC.

  3. Acceptance of GTC
    The Customer acknowledges having read and unreservedly accepted these GTC before placing their order. The GTC are accessible on the website and can be printed or downloaded.

  4. Prices and Promotions
    4.1 Prices
    Prices are indicated in euros, inclusive of all taxes (TTC), excluding participation in delivery costs unless otherwise specified. The Seller reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, but products will be invoiced based on the rates in force displayed at the time of order validation.

4.2 Promotions (Black Friday, flash sales, temporary sales)
a) Promotions are commercial operations limited in time and precisely dated. They apply only to orders placed and paid for during the promotional period indicated on the website.
b) The crossed-out price and/or the displayed discount percentage correspond to the lowest price actually applied by the Seller during the thirty (30) days preceding the start of the promotional operation, in accordance with applicable regulations.
c) No order placed prior to the promotional period may be cancelled or modified for the sole purpose of retroactively benefiting from a discount or promotional rate. Likewise, the Seller will not provide a retroactive discount on orders executed, shipped, or invoiced prior to the promotion. (The consumer's legal rights, including the right of withdrawal, remain applicable under the conditions provided by law.)

  1. Order — Availability — Cancellation
    5.1 Order
    The order is final when the Customer has confirmed payment and received a confirmation email.

5.2 Availability
If a product proves unavailable after the order is placed, the Seller will inform the Customer as soon as possible and offer either a replacement product or cancellation of the order and full refund.

5.3 Cancellation and Modification by the Customer
Before shipment:

  • The Customer may request cancellation or modification of their order as long as the product has not been shipped. However, the Seller reserves the right to refuse a modification whose sole purpose is to obtain a later promotional offer (see article 4.2.c).
    After shipment:

  • Once the product has been shipped, order cancellation is no longer possible. The Customer may, if applicable, exercise their right of withdrawal in accordance with article 7.

  1. Payment
    Payment is due immediately upon order. Accepted payment methods are those indicated on the website. The Seller reserves the right to suspend any delivery in the event of insolvency proceedings against the Customer.

  2. Right of Withdrawal — Returns
    7.1 Right of Withdrawal
    In accordance with the Consumer Code, the consumer Customer has a period of fourteen (14) calendar days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal without having to give reasons or pay a penalty, except for exceptions provided by law. Personalized products or products made to the Customer's specifications are excluded from the right of withdrawal.

7.2 Exercise Modalities
To exercise this right, the Customer must notify the Seller of their decision via the withdrawal form or any other written declaration. The product must be returned in good condition, complete, and, if possible, in its original packaging.

7.3 Return Costs
Unless otherwise specified to the Customer at the time of sale, return costs are borne by the Customer when the right of withdrawal is exercised.

7.4 Refund
The refund of the amounts paid will take place within a maximum period of fourteen (14) days from the date on which the Seller is informed of the Customer's decision to withdraw. The refund will be made using the same payment method as that initially used, unless the Customer expressly agrees to another method. (In accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code.)

  1. Delivery and Timeframes
    8.1 Modalities
    Products are delivered to the address indicated by the Customer. Delivery times are indicative. In case of significant delay, the Customer may request cancellation of the order and a refund in accordance with the Consumer Code.

8.2 Receipt
The Customer checks the condition of the products upon delivery and, if necessary, makes detailed written reservations to the carrier and informs the Seller as soon as possible.

  1. Legal Guarantee
    9.1 Guarantee of Conformity
    The products sold benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects, in accordance with articles L217-4 et seq. of the Consumer Code and articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code.

9.2 Commercial Guarantee
Any commercial guarantee granted will be specified in the product sheet or invoice and does not exclude legal guarantees.

  1. Responsibility
    The Seller's liability is limited in accordance with applicable legal provisions. The Seller cannot be held responsible for indirect or immaterial damages resulting from the purchase.

  2. Force Majeure
    In case of force majeure, the Seller's obligations are suspended for the duration of the event.

  3. Personal Data
    The collected information is necessary for order management. It is processed in accordance with the privacy policy available on the website.

  4. Mediation – Applicable Law – Disputes
    These GTC are subject to French law. In case of dispute, the Customer is invited to contact customer service. Failing an amicable agreement, the Customer may resort to consumer mediation or competent courts.

  5. Specific Provisions Black Friday / Promotions (summary)
    • Promotions apply only to orders placed and paid for during the period indicated on the website.
    • No right to a retroactive discount on a previous order can be claimed by the Customer.
    • The Seller reserves the right to refuse an order cancellation or modification aimed solely at taking advantage of a subsequent promotion.
    • Legal rules on price transparency and display (applicable previous price, lowest price over 30 days) are respected.

  6. Acceptance
    By validating their order, the Customer acknowledges accepting these GTC.

Any natural person who places an order must first consult and accept these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

REMO reserves the right to modify these General Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time. The modifications made will in no case apply to purchases made before their approval, which will in any event be governed by the General Terms in force at the time of these same purchases. It is the user's responsibility to know the General Terms and Conditions of Sale in force at the time of the purchase process.

These General Terms may be supplemented or modified by specific clauses or conditions specific to certain products, particularly insofar as they may exclude any right of withdrawal, exchange, or return. Please carefully consult the product information to learn about these specific conditions.

The electronic document in which the contract is drawn up will be kept by REMO and can be consulted on our website, after authentication by means of your username and password or by the means established according to the circumstances. This copy can be requested in paper format from Customer Service, info@remo-home.fr, whose contact details are specified in Clause 12 of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

By accepting these conditions, the user acknowledges being of legal age and having sufficient legal means to comply with these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

 

 

2. Applicable Regulations

This online contract is subject to French law and more particularly to the legal regime imposed by Law 34/2002 on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSICE). The online contract will not be registered by a third party and the language of subscription is French.

These General Terms can be saved and reproduced at any time by the user making a purchase through their internet browser and must be accepted before proceeding with the payment for the products.

 

 

3. Creating a Customer Account

To access online purchases on the REMO website, it is not necessary to register as a user of this website (www.remo-home.fr), and therefore, it is possible to make purchases without registering.

Registration as a user is free and must be done from the "Registration" tab on the website itself. At the end of the registration process, you will receive a confirmation email indicating that the process has been completed successfully.

The user can access their customer account with their username and password, or with the resources that, in each case, allow REMO to authenticate its users. In their account, the user will find useful information such as the details of past orders or the delivery address provided.

The user can unsubscribe at any time by sending an email to the following address: info@remo-home.fr. Unsubscribing as a user will result in the deletion of their personal data.

 

 

4. Offer Validity Period

Without prejudice to the provisions of specific legislation, offers sent electronically are valid for the period set by REMO or, failing that, as long as they remain accessible to recipients.

 

 

5. Purchase Process

The purchase process includes the following steps:

(i) Product selection: browse our site and click on the "Add to cart" button whenever you want to add a product to your cart. The cart contains the name of the selected product, the quantity, and the price in euros.

(ii) Start the purchase process: to start the purchase process, click on the "Order" button.

(iii) Filling in purchase details: before choosing the payment method, you must fill in your purchase details and correct any errors in data entry. Once you have verified your information, you can validate your order.

(iv) Choice of payment method: select the desired payment method, accept the General Terms and Conditions of Sale by ticking the reserved box and click on the "Place Order" button. At this point, the contract is fully concluded.

(v) Purchase confirmation: upon receipt of your agreement, Kave will send you a confirmation notification that you can save and which will contain the following information:

  • Order number
  • Order date
  • Summary of products included in the order.

REMO will confirm the order by email within 24 hours of receiving the order.

Throughout the purchase process, it is possible to consult these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, as well as the final price of the selected items.

Once the purchase is confirmed, the customer cannot modify or cancel the order except in cases provided by law or by these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

 

 

6. Price, Taxes, and Shipping Costs

All prices indicated on the website are in euros and include applicable taxes and duties in mainland France, without prejudice to the fact that the purchase of items from another territory may result in the collection of applicable taxes and/or duties. REMO, through the bank details entered by the user on the website, will make a deduction for the final amount of the order.

Shipping costs will be specified at the end of the purchase process, and you will need to choose the desired shipping method. These shipping costs will be entirely borne by the user.

Before validating the price via the "Place Order" option, the user can consult the final price of their order, detailed, and if applicable, the amount of discounts or promotions applied, as well as shipping costs, taxes, duties, or other complementary services.

The prices of items may vary at any time according to REMO-HOME's pricing policy. Products purchased will be invoiced at the price in force at the time of purchase.

 

 

7. Payment

Users can pay for their purchases by one of the following means:

a) By bank card issued by a recognized financial institution.

The payment of the customer's order is made in real time through a virtual point of sale and after verification of the accuracy of the data provided.

b) By bank transfer.

REMO guarantees that the personal data obtained through the registration form filled out by the user will be processed securely and confidentially.

 

Payment in installments

Upon request, we can set up an installment payment system on your bank card.

 

8. Invoice

REMO will send you proof of purchase by email to the address provided by the user. Likewise, REMO offers the possibility to download the invoice from the "My Orders" tab of the customer account. Once the user has selected the order for which they need the invoice, they simply need to click on "Download invoice".

If the user placed an order as a guest, they can download the invoice by creating an account with the same email address used when placing the order in question. Then, they can follow the process explained above.

 

 

9. Delivery

Orders can be shipped to the countries listed below: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Spain (excluding the Canary Islands), Estonia, Finland, metropolitan France (including Corsica), Hungary, Ireland, Italy (including Sicily and Sardinia), Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Sweden.

Deliveries take place from Monday to Friday. The user can specify at any time any information relating to shipping, as well as the delivery method according to the options provided by REMO.

Delivery costs for products are indicated during the purchase process. 

The user becomes the owner of the goods once the agreed price has been paid in full.

If delivery cannot take place, REMO is entitled to terminate the contract due to impossibility of delivery and without prejudice to the rights that REMO may assert in the event of intentional fault or fault on the part of the user.

REMO is not responsible for the condition in which the products are delivered to the user or in case of non-delivery of the order within the agreed deadlines for reasons attributable to the user.

The user assumes responsibility for product risks at the time of delivery, regardless of when the user becomes the owner. Consequently, REMO is not responsible for theft, deterioration, damage, or loss of products that may occur after their delivery to the user.

 

 

10. Responsibility regarding delivery

REMO does not guarantee the permanent availability of products and is exempt from any liability as long as it does not constitute a fraudulent violation on the part of REMO, or that it arises from errors in the unavailability of data transfer telematic network service not controlled by REMO.

Similarly, REMO is released from its delivery obligations under Article 9 above and is not responsible in this regard in the following cases:

a) Total or partial non-payment by the user.

b) Omission or inaccuracy of the information that, in accordance with articles 3, 5, 6 and 7, the user must provide in the order form at the time of ordering.

 

 

11. Returns

11.1. Withdrawals

In accordance with French legislation, the user has a right of withdrawal under which they can return the product received if they find that it does not meet their expectations.

The exercise of this right of withdrawal is reserved for users who act as consumers and/or users, in accordance with the definition given to them by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16, which approves the revised text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users. This right can be exercised within a maximum period of fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of receipt and according to the official calendar of the place where the goods were delivered. To assert this right, the product must be in perfect condition and in its original packaging.

The purchase price will be refunded after verification of the condition of the goods and using the same payment methods used for the order and, within a maximum of fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of receipt of the withdrawal request, provided that REMO handles the removal of the product. If the user returns the product via a carrier of their choice, the fourteen (14) day period begins when REMO becomes aware of the product's shipment or, failing that, from the date of receipt of the product.

The costs of returning the goods for the exercise of the right of withdrawal are borne by REMO-HOME only if they correspond to shipments initially intended for the Spanish, French, and Italian markets. If the customer has chosen a superior delivery option, only the price difference between standard and superior delivery will be refunded. Return costs are borne by the user, who must return the products to the address indicated by REMO at all times or, failing that, to the following address.

In the event that the products do not arrive in perfect condition, REMO reserves the right to reduce the amount of the refund for the order and may appropriate any amount that the user may have to pay for any breach of the obligations set out in these conditions.

To exercise their right of withdrawal, the user must inform REMO, at the following address: info@remo-home.fr, of their decision to withdraw from the purchase made, by an unequivocal declaration, by email.


11.2. Defective product or damaged during transport

When the product has been damaged during transport, it is essential that the user communicates this by phone on the same day the goods are received and notes it on the carrier's delivery note. REMO will cover the shipping costs for the delivery and return of the product.

If the user wishes to return the product using a transport company other than the one offered by REMO and the transport company chosen by the user offers higher rates, the user will pay the difference in transport cost.

Before unpacking a product, the user must check that the product matches the ordered model (model, color, size, finish, etc.), that the packaging has no defects, and that the number of packages corresponds to that indicated on the delivery note, making an immediate claim in case of anomaly. If the user detects an anomaly before opening the product, REMO requires that the product packaging not be opened, and that the user indicates "accepted subject to reservation" on the delivery note, stating the reason.

13. Warranty

If the user acts as a consumer and user (in accordance with the Consumer Code), all our products benefit from a 1-year legal guarantee of conformity, starting from the delivery date of the product in question. In case of repair of purchased products, the warranty period will be extended by an additional 6 months.

The warranty is expressly excluded in the following cases:

a) Transport, accidents, misuse and other damage not due to normal use of the product by the customer after delivery of the goods. This warranty only covers transport damage caused before receipt of the material.

b) Transport of the product without its original packaging.

c) Burns, cuts, scuffs, abrasions, marks, scratches or other damage caused by animals or misuse of the product.

d) Use or contact with chemical products (acids, solvents, dyes, paints, ammonia, lacquers or other hair products...) or treatment with cleaning products not indicated for the specific upholstery of the guaranteed product.

e) Color deterioration due to exposure of the product to sunlight or other heat sources.

f) Indirect damages and any loss of any kind.

g) Personal and/or material damage caused by the user's failure to comply with Kave's rules and instructions for the installation, use, and maintenance of the product.

 

 

14. Force majeure

REMO is not responsible for the total or partial non-performance of the obligations arising from this contract or for the delay in its performance if such non-performance is due to circumstances of force majeure, including general, regional or sectoral strikes, floods, fires, etc.

 

 

15. Personal Data Protection

In accordance with the provisions of Organic Law 3/2018 of December 5 and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, concerning the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, as well as current legislation, we inform you that your personal data collected through this contract will be processed by REMO, in order to fulfill the commercial relationship between you and our company.

Personal data may be communicated to third parties, provided that such communication meets a need for improvement, compliance, and control of the commercial relationship, and/or is limited to the purposes mentioned above, in accordance with current legislation in this area.

We inform you that you can at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation, opposition, deletion, restriction of processing and portability at the registered office of said company or by sending an email to the following address info@remo-home.fr

16. Intellectual Property

REMO retains all intellectual and industrial property rights, including trade secret rights, regarding all plans, standards, graphics, diagrams, illustrations, photographs, samples, and other documents, whether in electronic, printed, pre-printed form, or as brochures, provided to the user in connection with the manufacturing, sampling, and marketing of its products.

 

 

17. Environment

17.1 Extended Producer Responsibility Principle

Producers subject to the principle of extended producer responsibility under Article L. 541-10 of the Environmental Code must register with the administrative authority, which issues them a unique identifier.

 

17.2 One delivered, one collected free of charge

For the purchase of a bulky piece of furniture (over 20 kg or larger than 2 meters), we offer to collect an equivalent used product free of charge.

The conditions for this service are as follows:

  • You must inform REMO-HOME before confirming the order if you wish us to collect your used furniture. To do this, when choosing the shipping method, you will need to specify it in the "Write a comment" area, indicating which product you wish us to collect and its dimensions.
  • The collection will be carried out at the same location where the new product is delivered (i.e., if the User has requested street-level delivery, the return will also be carried out at that location).
  • The product can be collected on the same day as the new product's delivery or on another day, agreed between REMO and the User.
  • The product to be collected must be equivalent to the product purchased by the User (for example, a single bed for the purchase of a single bed, a 3-seater sofa for the purchase of a 3-seater sofa).
  • The product to be collected must be in the same assembly condition as the delivered product (i.e., if we deliver disassembled furniture, the furniture to be collected must also be disassembled).
  • What happens to the collected furniture? The collected product is reused or recycled thanks to Eco-mobilier, the eco-organization for homes approved by public authorities. Furniture still in good condition can be entrusted to solidarity associations nearby. The most damaged items are recycled. They are transformed into raw materials (wood, scrap metal, plastic, foam...) or used as fuel for industry or heating.

 

 

18. Nullity or cancellation, applicable law and competent jurisdiction

 

If any provision of this contract is found to be void, voidable, illegal or unlawful, then, to the fullest extent permitted by law:

(a) Such declaration shall not invalidate the remainder of the contract, which shall remain in full force and effect.

(b) The invalid or voidable provision(s) shall be replaced or preferably adjusted to be declared null and void.

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be governed by or interpreted in accordance with French law. REMO and the user agree to formally waive any other jurisdiction and to submit any dispute that may arise from the delivery of the products or services covered by these General Terms and Conditions of Sale to the Courts corresponding to the user's domicile.

The user may appeal to the jurisdiction of the courts of the city of Bordeaux (France).
